From September 25th and for the next 100 days until January 2nd 2021, passengers will be able to stay connected to their family and friends for free by using the on-board Wi-Fi connectivity. Qatar Airways now offers the largest number of aircraft equipped with high-speed broadband connectivity in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
“During these challenging times, Qatar Airways continues to lead and innovate, providing our passengers with the five-star experience they have come to expect from the world’s best airline. We are pleased to offer high-speed broadband connectivity to all our loyal passengers for the duration of their flights, from departure to arrival,” said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker.

“This is not only a sign of Qatar Airways’ exceptional service at a time when other airlines are using current market challenges as a reason to reduce their Wi-Fi offerings,” said Al Baker.
These aircraft have been equipped with Super Wi-Fi service using the award-winning GX Aviation technology from the global mobile satellite communications provider, Inmarsat, since the service’s launch in 2018.
Qatar Airways passengers on GX Aviation-equipped flights typically receive up to one hour of free access to the Super Wi-Fi service, with the option to purchase full flight access if more time is needed online.
