Avianca announced Thursday that it has requested authorization from the Civil Aeronautics Authority to operate three new routes between Colombia and Argentina; Medellin-Buenos Aires-Medellin, Bogota-Cordova-Bogota and Cali-Buenos Aires-Cali.

The application indicates that the airline plans to operate these routes seven times a week on Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.
The Colombian Civil Aeronautics indicated that next August 26 at 09:00, the Public Hearing will be held virtually, in order to consider the request submitted by the airline.
