Following the announcement of the lifting of entry restrictions to the United Kingdom for travelers from South America, Avianca announced that it will resume flights between Bogota and London as of March 26, 2022.

Avianca to move domicile to the United Kingdom.

The route is expected to operate a daily flight on Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Through Avianca’s route network, travelers from the United Kingdom can access the main destinations in Central and South America. The company currently has one of the largest networks in Latin America with more than 100 routes, around 3,120 flights per week and close to 470,000 seats per week.

Avianca chooses the Boeing 787 as only aircraft for long-haul flights.

“We are pleased to resume direct flights between Colombia and the United Kingdom, offering more and better options for our customers traveling between Europe and Latin America. For our long-haul flights we will maintain the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet with business and economy cabin. This offer, together with the customization options of the Vuela a tu Medida scheme, will give our customers a first-class experience,” said Catalina Nannig, Avianca’s Vice President of Sales and Distribution.
