With the purpose of offering travelers in Valle del Cauca more opportunities for direct and non-stop connectivity to destinations in Colombia, Avianca announced on Monday the launch of the new Cali – Bucaramanga route.
This is one of the seven routes chosen by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, within its plan to improve the connectivity of tourist areas of the country, with economic incentives and promotion by the Government.
→ Avianca starts three international routes from Cartagena.
Flights will start operating on June 1, 2022 and tickets are already available for sale.
The airline will operate 6 weekly flights on the Cali-Bucaramanga-Cali route, on Airbus A320 family aircraft. This will translate for the market and for travelers in an offer of more than 1,000 seats per week for this route.
“Cali is a city we always want to bet on, it has a lot of potential for tourism and business. For this reason, we continue to increase connectivity for our travelers in the Valley to enjoy direct connections to national and international destinations. This route is in addition to the one already inaugurated in March from and to Mexico City and the restart of the direct route connecting Cali with Madrid. We also want to continue offering more and better connectivity options for the Santander region. We are very proud to be the only airline that operates this route, linking two important cities; always with a proposal of competitive prices, tailored products and for everyone,” said David Alemán, Avianca’s Director of Sales Colombia and South America.
