Air India continues to expand its global reach with the resumption of its nonstop service between Mumbai and New York’s JFK airport starting this Tuesday, February 14, after being suspended in early 2019.

The flights to JFK are Air India’s third non-stop service from Mumbai to the United States, joining Newark and San Francisco.

The flight will operate daily with the newly inducted Boeing 777-200LR and will bring Air India’s frequency between the two countries to 47 non-stop flights per week.

“A key element of Air India’s transformation is to significantly improve connectivity between India’s major cities and key global destinations. The addition of this new service from Mumbai to New York JFK, following the December launch of non-stop flights from Mumbai to San Francisco, reaffirms our commitment to developing a major international hub in India’s commercial capital,” commented Campbell Wilson, CEO and Managing Director of Air India.
