During the upcoming summer season 2024, Spanish airline LEVEL will increase its seat offer to the United States and Latin America. Compared to last year, 40% more seats will be offered, amounting to almost 200,000 additional seats.

In the case of the North American country, three of the routes operated by the airline in this market, Los Angeles, Boston and New York, will have a daily flight during the peak months of the summer season, that is, from June to September. This represents a 65% increase in seats offered on the route to the Massachusetts capital and a 57% increase on the route to Los Angeles, compared to the same period in 2023.

Iberia to fly to Ljubljana (Slovenia) in summer 2024

On the other hand, LEVEL will resume its seasonal route to San Francisco starting March 31 with four weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, the company’s 2024 summer season will be marked by the new route to Miami, which will begin on March 31 with three weekly frequencies – on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – and one more frequency will be added on Saturdays, to total four weekly frequencies, during the months of June through September.

In this way, the airline demonstrates its clear commitment to a key market such as the U.S. market, increasing its seat offer by 50% compared to the 2023 summer season.

Increase in weekly seats to Latin America

In South America, this coming summer season, the airline will increase the number of seats on its route to Santiago de Chile by 40% compared to the same period last year. Thus, the airline will operate three weekly frequencies to the Chilean capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; while in Buenos Aires, it will operate five weekly frequencies, which will increase to six in the period from June to September. In the case of both cities, LEVEL is the only airline that operates directly from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

A growing airline

This reinforcement of operations for the 2024 summer season will be possible thanks to the addition of a sixth aircraft to LEVEL’s fleet, which will further strengthen the connection between Barcelona and the American continent as a further demonstration of the airline’s ongoing commitment to promote and consolidate the intercontinental hub from Barcelona to the Americas.

The sixth aircraft is part of the recently announced fleet growth plan, which calls for eight aircraft by 2026.

“The solid and sustained growth of our offer, the expansion of the fleet and starting the process to achieve our own air operator certification are key to consolidate LEVEL’s position as the leading long-haul airline at El Prat airport and thus further enhance Barcelona’s capabilities as a hub connecting the Americas and Europe,” said Lucia Adrover, Chief Commercial Officer of LEVEL.
