Interiors Redefining Comfort
The cabin design of Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 stands out for its sophistication, comfort, and aesthetic coherence. The interiors combine high-quality materials, hues inspired by Saudi heritage, and state-of-the-art technology.
Every detail has been meticulously crafted to elevate the passenger experience, from the use of colors like deep indigo, mocha, sky blue, sunset peach, and lavender to circadian rhythm-adjusting ambient lighting.

Riyadh Air’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft will accommodate 290 passengers across four classes:
Business Elite
- 4 seats in a 1-2-1 configuration with 78-inch-long and 22.5-inch-wide flat beds.
- 52-inch privacy walls and sliding doors.
- 32-inch 4K OLED screens.
- Full connectivity: A/C power, two USB-C, and one USB-A ports.
- Features a double-bed option for central front seats.
- Immersive sound integrated into headrests, developed in collaboration with Devialet.
Business Class
- 24 seats in six rows, also in a 1-2-1 configuration with Safran Unity design.
- 22-inch 4K OLED screens.
- Same level of privacy and connectivity as Business Elite.
- Devialet immersive audio without the need for headphones.
Premium Economy
- 39 Recaro PL3530 seats in a 2-3-2 layout.
- Generous space: 38-inch pitch and 19.2-inch width.
- 15.6-inch 4K OLED screens.
- Four USB-C ports per seat.
- Winged headrests for added privacy, expandable side tables, and lounge-style comfort with footrests.
Economy
- 223 Recaro R3 seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.

Technology Enhancing the Experience
Seamless Onboard Connectivity
Members of Riyadh Air’s loyalty program will enjoy free Wi-Fi via Viasat, with full access for streaming, web browsing, social media, and gaming from boarding to landing (where regulations permit). Live TV will also be available on seatback screens, featuring news and sports channels.
Next-Generation Entertainment
The airline will be the first to implement Panasonic Avionics’ Modular Interactive (MI) system, a platform that adapts in-flight entertainment content in real time, offering promotions and tailored content based on passenger trends.
A Global Vision from Riyadh
With its innovative approach, Riyadh Air aims not only to deliver a premium product but also to establish itself as a key player in international aviation. After receiving its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and its first technical spare aircraft, the company is preparing to announce its route network and inaugural flight date soon.
