The Dutch airline KLM announced this Thursday the reopening of its route to Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, as part of its winter 2025-2026 schedule. This destination, renowned for its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters, will be operated three times a week from Amsterdam, with layovers in Georgetown, Guyana.

The service will begin on October 26, 2025, and run until March 26, 2026. Flights will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, offering flexibility for travelers looking to escape the European winter.

- KLM 783: Departs from Amsterdam Schiphol at 09:35 and arrives in Bridgetown at 13:35 (local time).
- Connection to Georgetown: The same aircraft continues its journey at 15:05, landing in Georgetown at 16:40.
- Return to Amsterdam: The flight departs from Guyana at 18:00 and arrives at Schiphol at 08:00 the following day.
787 Dreamliner: Comfort and Capacity
KLM will operate this route using the Boeing 787-9, an aircraft known for its efficiency and comfort. The seating configuration includes:
- 30 seats in World Business Class
- 21 seats in Premium Comfort Class
- 224 seats in Economy Class
This setup caters to both tourists and business travelers, capitalizing on the growing demand for Caribbean destinations.
KLM is thus reinstating a route it previously operated during the winters of 2021 and 2022, reinforcing its presence in the region.
